Would like to hear from you all. To start with Mine, moved to Middle east as part of the so-called career movement and learning my steps to climb through in the Merger & Acquisition scenario, which obviously my company underwent. Incidentally one of the few guys, who just got hold to swim against these waves. Life on the personal side, got married(:)...after a lot of thought process and felt sometimes, as suggested by my gd friend, you need to leave your baggage(past) to move on. Thanks for the suggestion:)). As with any gd married life, Life is beautiful for a eternal Sagittarian optimistic guy...Life had its own challenges all occuring at the same time, with transfer to Middle east and getting married and building the beautiful home at Middle East all by yourself. Quests & Realities played their own tunes but all for good to bloom. One year got over here and believe, this is one of the fast paced cosmopolitan city. Beautiful in its own strides, sheer acknowledgement of our capabilities, Love this city. But what I missed here was the strong roots or foundation. Everycity in India has a history, nature, culture which you relate to and live too. However, here long history is the missing aspect. But the city is building its history. Living through the first economic meltdown and just growing. Thus the Phase II - Part 1 of my life has just started with a good note. Do Miss some of my good friends back in India, but tried to be in touch as always. But the good part is still have some of my good friends here...Bhu...who is always here just to relieve me of my hectic schedule discussion with him. Thanks Bhu & Sangi. Thanks to my Pioneers who are in touch, whenever I jus try to reach them. And the group of SSN. Real Good Neighbours and all those little kids in my flat who always make my day and also for Google & Apple to satisfy my techno-instincts.

With Luv,

Bharathy

Appreciate "Her"

<img style="display:block;         Here is a girl, who is as much educated as you are;
Who is earning almost as much as you do;

One, who has dreams and aspirations just as
you have because she is as human as you are;

One, who has never entered the kitchen in her life just like you or your
Sister haven't, as she was busy in studies and competing in a system
that gives no special concession to girls for their culinary achievements

One, who has lived and loved her parents & brothers & sisters, almost as
much as you do for 20-25 years of her life;

One, who has bravely agreed to leave behind all that, her home, people who love her, to adopt your home, your family, your ways and even your family ,name

One, who is somehow expected to be a master-chef from day #1, while you sleep oblivious to her predicament in her new circumstances, environment and that kitchen

One, who is expected to make the tea, first thing in the morning and cook
food at the end of the day, even if she is as tired as you are, maybe more,
and yet never ever expected to complain; to be a servant, a cook, a mother,
a wife, even if she doesn't want to; and is learning just like you are as
to what you want from her; and is clumsy and sloppy at times and knows that you won't like it if she is too demanding, or if she learns faster than  you;

One, who has her own set of friends, and that includes boys and even men at her workplace too, those, who she knows from school days and yet is willing to put all that on the back-burners to avoid your irrational jealousy, unnecessary competition and your inherent insecurities;

Yes, she can drink and dance just as well as you can, but won't, simply
because you won't like it, even though you say otherwise

One, who can be late from work once in a while
when deadlines, just like yours, are to be met;

One, who is doing her level best and wants to make this most important
relationship in her entire life a grand success, if you just help her some
and trust her;

One, who just wants one thing from you, as you are the only one she knows in your entire house - your unstinted support, your sensitivities and most importantly - your understanding, or love, if you may call it.

Generally Discovery channels most of the shows are articulated superbly. This was one such show about abnormal growth conditions of various natures in our fellow people.

Happened to see a girl child whose beautiful face is completely covered with hair. Her parents, though worried, help her to shave that chunk of hair from her face. She was from a SE Asian country. Similarly a boy from India has lumps of tissues growing all over his body. And again medical experts are working to understand these issues. There were similar shows of same kind in the Discovery channel that Day.
This gave me a thought of how is life to us compared to them. Isn’t Life a GIFT to us.

Most of the times, have seen people bluntly making comments about their problems in life and finally ending up with the question why it has to be me. Considering those, I felt sometimes, that the Force would have felt, your are the chosen one who can fight over these problems compared to others. However, when placing ourselves with those people of the Discovery showcase, I felt that they have the greater strength than us to live a beautiful life.

Considering these things, believe Life is a Gift.It’s up to us to ensure and make Life a gift to be relished before we say a hard word, or make a comment of something or point out at some of the irregularities or of the Job environment we come across and can be said as many as like this. We are gifted in this beautiful world to make Life more beautiful. It’s all up to us to touch those lives around us and ensure they feel they are also the Gifted.

A few seconds thought can make a difference. Life is a Gift. Let’s share it.

The Rise of BASIC

Copenhagen climate summit made a beginning. However, it was great news for the media to point out what in store for the interests of the 193 nations who for the past two weeks discussed on how to have a better climate management practice in place. Though, the summits during the course of discussion were seen as the tug of war of between the developed countries and the developing nations, there’s a point that was made by U.S.

The Rise of BASIC – Brazil, United States of America, South Africa, India & China., which clearly embodies the importance of the key developing powers of the world. Well, what happened to Russia part of BRIC to be dropped down would be an interesting topic to discuss? But it’s clear that without any representation or consent from these powerful developing countries, the Copenhagen summit cannot make a progress. This lead to the evolution of BASIC.

The main point of action in the accord is to aim to cap the rising global temperature to a maximum of 2 degree Celsius by the end of the century. And the sweetener is that $100 billion in annual aid to the developing nations toward this climate control mechanisms from 2020.The accord agreed by the 26 countries including the BASIC makes a new beginning towards a common goal. The best thing to appreciate of this summit is that, the nations of this planet are united for a common goal.
However, getting into the BASIC of these BASIC brings a lot of clearly vested interests and agenda behind it.

1. The EU + Russia have failed to rise to this accord. This might mean that, they would prove a point of synergy between them by working towards a European standard for the climate control which would, well come in the future roadmap for the summit.

2. India and China stood united towards the enforcement of any stipulations of immediate effect on the developing countries. Their point is well taken with respect to the aspect that the developed countries should work towards far more with respect to the control of emissions compared to the developing countries.

3. Though, Copenhagen missed with respect to working towards a concrete point, it achieved a common goal of finalizing those plans by 2010 in Mexico.

4. The Copenhagen summit however is creating a new roadmap and is moving away from Kyoto protocol. The Kyoto protocol does force on the emission and control of green house gases, it didn’t stand as unifying point. As said by our PM Mr. Manmonhan Singh, the protocol should follow a common but differentiated responsibility, seems to have becoming as a practical point via Copenhagen summit.

5. United States of America, the main partner of interest whose revenues in terms of exports and imports with the developing nations, seems to have understood, where it would be if it’s not part of the BRIC. Thus, it played the game tactfully and led to the creation of BASIC, which seems to have governed the Copenhagen summit to start a new beginning.

One of the key points of discussion is the burial of the greenhouse gases in the forests seems to have been accepted a good proposition. However, the means and the where withal of these has to be clearly worked out. But the missing plan of action was the way and means the renewable resources of the energy can be capitalized. Like the Wind energy etc. However, if the assumptions is not on the lines of the economic and business interests of EU versus US has the former has the maximum wind fields and generation, while the latter has the technology for the burial of the green house gases, the Copenhagen summit has really gone in the way as any other large meetings with common agenda. The thing to appreciate is all the Premiers of the nations have understood the grave danger of the climate issue and took notice of where we stand and where we need to move forward.

As rightly said by the foreign minister of China, Mr. Yang “Copenhagen conference is not a destination. But a beginning”. Believe it creates a brave new world.

String of Core Pearls & String of Base Foundation

Every nation plans a strategy for survival and some plan the strategy for control. The control can be exhibited by means of aggression or by means of precise control of existence. Existence is a key term as it relates to the existence of anything, which can be brought into control not only by means of aggression can also be by means of humanity or by means of controlling the source. Controlling the existence of hearts by means of humanity gives a completely different result compared to the same when it is controlled by aggression. Well, when so called Big Brothers take their stance of control by aggression, somewhere in the Sub-continent, our country is slowly building up a fort which I would refer as String of Core Pearls.

Can I relate to the terms of the Da-Vinci nature or the cloud of Sacred Shatriyas working towards the strategic control. Whatever be it, though it started centuries back, it was a trade-off for some reasons and now we are able to see to that India is building an empire. Starting with Steel, copper, Zinc, Alumina, coal are slowly being controlled by Indians. The Mines, the production and the ores is now under the control of mittals, tatas, agarwals. Well its not about the ownership, it about how this has happened over the decade and every major deal has happened by these conglomerates wouldn’t have been successful without government intervention.

So, now raises the question – Was this planned as a strategic move over the period and now getting unleashed. And whats on the cards now. Government is slowly and firmly unleashing the knowledge policy. This I would call as “String of base foundation” for this is being setup in various countries. If you can control the thoughts, then you can control the evolution. Two different extremes. One India is building up its string of core pearls and in the line is renewable energy. Though oil doesn’t seem to favor much for us. Controlling these extremes controls the entire supply chain to the world for anything to be produced. And the other extreme is the process industry, where your knowledge is going to play a major role in evolving new process and techniques to better up any of the product formulation or invention. And we are building that knowledge base slowly.

This brings to a finer blueprint that control always need not be exerted via aggression but can be exerted via control of existence. A strong strategy of Chanakya is now being played and carried forward by the Indian government. Well if I give another thought to this, can I say there is a secret sect of Chanakyan’s & Shatriyans working towards this and ensuring this development is carried out for the nation. This brings a thought, why some of the visits of our key premiers to some nations which we feel as leisure trips can actually have a hidden agenda for the next control of existence. Just think about some of the trips of our generals, premiers and presidents. There might be a lot of unanswered questions. Well, as long as this being the strategy and evolution, I feel India is on its way to become strategic empire.

(This is a personal viewpoint)

Nine Virtues of Warrior

I doubt how many of us understand what the word "Warrior" refers to. Though the word brings the top of mind re-call as a person who is capable of engaging in combat warfare, Warrior goes beyond that.

I leave it to your search capabilities to understand, who a "Warrior" is. However, came across the unique nine virtues of a Warrior, which I felt to share. Those nine virtues are as below:

1. To maintain candour and fidelity in love and devotion to the tried friend: though he strike me I will do him no scathe.
2. Never to make wrong some oath: for great and grim is the reward for the breaking of plighted troth.
3. To deal not hardly with the humble and the lowly.
4. To remember the respect that is due to great age.
5. To suffer no evil to go unremedied and to fight against the enemies of Faith, Folk and Family: my foes I will fight in the field, nor will I stay to be burnt in my house.
6. To succour the friendless but to put no faith in the pledged word of a stranger people.
7. If I hear the fool's word of a drunken man I will strive not: for many a grief and the very death groweth from out such things.
8. To give kind heed to dead people: straw dead, sea dead or sword dead.
9. To abide by the enactments of lawful authority and to bear with courage the decrees of the Norns.

(Source - Odinic Rites)

Winter Season of Indian Parliament Session - 2009

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; Let’s save those droplets to make drinking available for someone elsewhere.

Water crisis is going to be a major issue of the new century. Earth a beautiful planet with lot of water bodies around it. But Less than 1% of the world’s fresh water (or about 0.007% of all water on earth) is readily accessible for direct human use. A shower taken by a typical person in developed country uses more water than a person living in slum who uses water for his whole day purpose in a developing country. And scarcity of water will become a burning issue as the years go by.

Some of the key facts of Water issues are

3.575 million people die each year from water-related disease

43% of water-related deaths are due to diarrhea.

84% of water-related deaths are in children ages 0-14.

98% of water-related deaths occur in the developing world.

884 million people, lack access to safe water supplies, approximately one in eight people.

(Source: www.water.org)

On clear statistical terms, almost 2 in every 10 person on this earth don’t have the source for clear safe drinking water. It’s said that a minimum of 15 liters’ of water is ideal for human for their per day requirement. However, it would be astonishing to hear that lesser than this amount is which some of the African people strive for a month.

Some of the recent studies have revealed that One third of the world’s population live in Water Stressed countries & these countries are majorly present in Asia & Africa. Ghana, Somalia, Ethiopia are some of the nations in Africa where people walk miles to quench their thirst. Murdering their friends or neighbors is common in this part of world for water. Astounding fact is that 80% of diseases in the World are due to water borne diseases.

A United Nations report focuses on issues of water management & says "there is enough water for everyone" and "water insufficiency is often due to mismanagement, corruption, lack of appropriate institutions, bureaucratic inertia and a shortage of investment in both human capacity and physical infrastructure”. However, as an Individual we can, save water. Whenever you see a running tap, remember there might be a day, when we may also run out of water. Use water judiciously. Every droplet counts. And the citizens feel proud of their Nation whenever the Nation makes remarkable strides or able to get to the common man for their upliftment or the nation winning a match or can be any other reasonable good thing that varies from each Citizen.

There’s this relative thought that comes in Mind, when we blame the government, the nation that they are not able to hold promises or not able to support a respective scheme or multiple varied things were we have raised our point of concern. Looking at the varied issues, from a petty small thing where we get into the agitation of the street light not working or the sewage line not being properly implemented or raising to the occasion of the terrorism to state that our Police personnel have been killed because they didn’t have the better Rifle in hand while the terrorist did. The Media plays a major role by creating a great havoc of how much TRP can be boosted with simple news & how can it be manipulated.

All these comments go a long with respect to each citizen who question’s the nature of the governance of the nation. I just felt to ask a question to those Citizen’s.

How many of you have duly carried out your citizen duties properly?

Our role doesn’t end with respect to casting votes & still, in terms of poll turnout we are lagging behind. Well, Our duties consists of being a good citizen, not in means of thought, but in means of action, where we pay our taxes regularly, where we take the initiative of keeping the surrounding neat & clean, where we take the responsibility of keeping the city clean, where we take the responsibility of following the simple traffic rules & regulations, where we take the responsibility of supporting the common cause of city…and it can be stated to the very small activity of paying our taxes regularly, not littering around the city, following the traffic rules meticulously, working towards the common cause of the city upliftment.

A question that immediately arises – I do all these activities but still the gap exists. A collective drop makes a ocean & a not a small drop…U & Me carrying out these activities is not important. Ensuring the fellow citizen carrying out these simple duties is important. This will have ripple effect – better funds at the centre to support our Armed forces with latest gadgets, to support the flood affected areas, to have better street light facility, to have a better sewage system. Government can ensure by getting loans to run out the schemes, but those loans again come to us in form of various taxes. But I’m jus another common man who values the feelings & expectations of one who are around us. It’s a one of the great days in the history of India, when India decriminalized Gay sex which almost took 150 yrs, better late than never. And India became the 127th country to do this.
Well, I was thinking on this & felt happy for some of my friends who are part of this controlled world and escalated with joy on hearing this. That was time; I thought why I don’t bring some of the important points of Gay History, how it has evolved & the message carried by the Pride flag.
History says that it all started way back in BC, mainly to have the population reduction & also to adopt sexuality to be started between adolescent’s boys & Princes. And Greeks were the first to legalize though not officially. It was common between the Men to live together like any other couples. Plato went a step further to argue that this form of relationship between Men would make them intellectual & the relationships with women were ritual. Probably this can be the underlying statement, where in the most of the movies when Gays are depicted they are portrayed as either intellectual or people with a nack for clear thoughts, but mostly on the wrong side.
History goes on record stating the Famed Julius Caesar had love affair with another king & same sex marriages are recorded towards the end of BC Era. On Indian context there were references of Gay & Lesbian relationship prevailing during the same period. This reference however can be referred from Manava Dharmasastra, which also referred to the punishments for these kinds of relationships.
Further during the AD era, this became more of a sinful thing due to few of the so called religious aspirants and of the king makers to have control over their people. However, during the end of the 17th Century, changes start to take place and Netherlands decriminalizes homosexuality. With this the new rights for legality starts to pop up across the world. However the Word Gay was used first during 1920.
This purple handprint became a symbol of gay revolution during the period of 1969.
The original eight color version of the Pride flag. The color & their reference is as below.
Pink – Sexuality
Red – Life
Orange – Healing
Yellow – Sunlight
Green – Nature
Turquoise – Magic
Indigo/Blue – Serenity
Violet – Spirit.
Off late some the stripes were removed, such as Pink as they felt no further it carries sexuality.
Moving forward, there would be equal space for every culture and this would be also be a dominant force. The marketing teams are already working out their strategies to capitalize this population. In the far western countries, this has evolved over the time and they too have a majority stake in the national interests.
Its slowly happening in India & Happy to see India proved its democracy again in the form of rights to my fellow Indian. But India has to go further. Believe like another common Indian.
References:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manusmriti
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/India-decriminalises-gay-sex/articleshow/4726608.cms
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_in_India
http://gaylife.about.com/od/gaypride/p/rainbowflag.htm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_LGBT_history
http://www.gayheroes.com/alex.htm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality
http://www2.aaaa.org/news/agency/Pages/062909_mindshare.aspx

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://objectiveperception.blogspot.com/2009/07/gay-ho-jai-ho.html' title='Gay Ho! Common Identification Number. Identity number. These are all various synonym of the same word carrying a significant meaning. To the IT behemoths, this is a project of great significance as the related investment in various organization to make this project would be close to $ 1 Billion USD. Well, you can ask me what’s so interesting about this project.

The government’s vision is to bring social security. What does it mean? It means a lot. A minimum committed support system for all the citizens of India. This is great news. Government is carrying out such activity currently but the benefits of the same are not felt either by the citizens or by the Government. This is a unique project where the citizens of India will have a unique Identification number (UIN). This UIN would be related from your public distribution system number to insurance number to your bank account number to even your Driving licence number or anything that can be related to our identity.

Hence every system would be under a single identity. Well, for the man living his day to day life on the edge, whatever schemes government announces would be ensured to reach him. Hence let us assume a minimum wage of Rs.1000 has to reach every citizen below poverty line, this system would ensure, and that this amount gets credited into his account and crosschecked. Which is not the truth currently as whatever the government envisages is taken in the middle by the middleman. Hope the word clarifies who they are. One of the recent government project that envisaged removing off the loans borne by the farmers only grapple by so called large landowners, who in turn are representative of the Middleman. And these people are present everywhere in the system.

Whether this system would be implemented effectively can be question of doubt. However, by the fact when Government decides to get it done…it gets it done at all cost. And as any other Citizen who watches the regular activities of the government believes that this would get implemented. The benefit of this system can have a cascade effect on all segments of the people. From the tabawalla to the shoe-repair guy to the milk man to me to you and to those super rich, whoever it is, this would be of great boon. This can directly bring in clear law enforcement to all those who breach any code of conduct in the democratic system. How fast this becomes reality is the question everyone who reads this would ask me. I hope to see this gets completely implemented and benefits reaching every common Indian in a decade.

Related info:

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Where-is-my-social-security-Mr-Prime-Minister/articleshow/4710910.cms

<span class="Apple-style-span" style=" white-space: pre-wrap; Fast, small, agile dependable, it could be turned out in enormous numbers, and was made reality. MiG flooded all the continents, even the one with least human presence. It has flown in more wars than any other airplane in the world. An estimated 10,000 (some sources state s much as 12,000 copies) of them have been produced by the Soviet Union, its allies and (without license). The WWII airplanes & in the recent era, the Lockheed C-130 Hercules, outnumber MiG. However, introduced in 1959 in Soviet Air Force, it in service for more than 40 yrs. The operational record, now entered its fifth decade, may well extend into the new century.

India has a synonymous great history with MiG. As MiG grew in its Generation, Indian army also grew in generation along with MiG. At one point in time, the largest installation base for MiG was India out side Soviet Union. Well, we are proud on this aspect having a strong Air command, because of which were able to win war, from the Kargil back to the Indo-Pak war. However, does this cost which was incurred by the nation for nations growth has to be paid as EMI over the years? Well, this is the point of concern. Starting as early as 1963 with the First MiG crash in India, it has increased over the years and now it has become a regular process of one or two MiG to be crashed every month. The cost of a MiG Fighter being somewhere between 15million USD to almost close to 30million USD. Having spent so much over the years for heavy armory, and replenishment cost of almost USD 1- 1.5 million USD per craft is huge. My question is where from these huge investments come from. An error can occur once or twice or sometimes thrice. But it can’t be regular pattern and that too with a raising graph of the failure rate.

Being a citizen and everyone like me who reads through the news are concerned what effort does our Country has taken towards restoration or reduction of these failure. We all are aware that, this ageing fleet and new fighter planes are required. And its said, some of the largest bids in the world for the procurement for Defense deal is happening in the Asian Sub-continent. And we all can see these developments in terms of the joint ventures, new venture setups by Defense firms, and all etall. Though positive enough, what’s the development in reducing the crashes of these fighter planes? And any re-imbursement for those lives, the patriotic Defense people or the common Indian, a loss is a loss. As any other Citizen who has lost his kin in this kind of crash, I am also expecting eagerly an answer on this. Why this happens and what is the corrective action taken against it. At the end of the day it’s the hard earned money of the Farmer which multiplies in forms of various currencies and flows into those cockpits if only to fill the funeral pits, its quite devastating. Hope this can bring some kind of proactiveness or relative change management of the incidents that keep on happening at a regular pace, to bring down this kind of crashes, would be really good for those souls who have lost their lives but keep mum still. Else one fine day, this would lead to crash landing of the entire system which revolves around it. Expect this to be listened.

<span style="font-size:8.0pt; I always enjoyed my work...But there was this phenomenon where i jus logged in few weeks back - Twitter. I usually carry out the activity to precise routine...you can call as a Machine probably on a mechanical framework. On job in time..work to the core...during the office hours, back to home..spend time in the garden and with my small little kutties. Then read some books before going to watch some movies almost regularly in the night and browse through the net before I sleep.

Well, always this seems to be my routine and when I am on tour, it still becomes more Mean. Sometimes I feel, have I become more Mean Machine. And finally, this phenomenon struck me. After inquisitive reading through multiple articles which finally made me to be part of this Twitterific world.

This is quite changing me. Coz, I am able to put my thought process as and when, I feel. And I started to follow people of varied nature and interests...thats quite interesting. From a Hive mind friend to a food enthusiast to a critique to a Enthusiasit to a cartoonist to a English spokesman to a book worm to a friend & lot of people and all their thoughts...jus shows me there's completely another world altogether. They live the moment and enjoy the life.

But, I also live every second and enjoy on my own terms but not of relativeness. This world seems slowly to penetrate in me. And I am getting slowly submerged. But this question again pops up - Why you have been a Mean machine?Because for me dreams are to be lived and to live those, I need to be a mean machine. However at what cost is the question popping up!!!!

Incidental Death

This topic might sound quite annoying. Yeah, true. Death is something that happens when it has to. And in some cases, more than it decides, people decide on it.

Today I came across an incident where a Post Graduate Guy just burned himself alive (no more) to stand to his Lover's words. And the love they had was more than six years. This was affecting me or tormenting my thoughts quite deeply. Well you can ask me, why it bothers you so much. Hmm I have come across such personal incident of my close kin and some friends from my college days, who are in heaven provoking me to put these thoughts.

I always used to believe, that we are here to keep the one's surrounding us happy. Love starts with great note. And after that the lovers literally fly in the air. But, there is this underlying ego which sometimes play a major role..which might sometimes lead to a broken relationship. Does that mean, that you need to make an end to your life?

Well, let me put it this way...More than that...What the ones' around them, their friends, brothers or sisters or parents up to...when they find these people in this state of condition. Aren't they supposed to support them...help them..console them...atleast be a shoulder to them...And when none of these happens...its only such Incidental Death happens. I humbly put a request through this...whenever you come across such a point in your life...be a supportive shoulder to your friend or brother or sister. Because a loss of life..is a loss. And most precious one...is just no longer in this beautiful earth.

Its the society's responsibility to support them during their emotional drain and make them up...bring them up during those conditions. Lets not argue at the point that a guy so well educated has to be mentally strong to withstand such a temporary emotional backlash...Well my point is that, this was his breaking point...and I felt none was there to support this guy.

Probably If this brings some change of support with an individual, then i sincerely believe, this can make a drastic difference to the society. At the end, we all are here to LIVE our Precious moments.

Mission of Standby

There's a standby state in everything. Where you bring your laptop to standby, your engine to neutral, your launch to be stable.

Well you might feel...so what really you want. I was jus thinking what happens when the life comes to a standby. I only remember those old movies, when a shocking news is said, the characters comes to a frame of shockiness and immediately you have these visuals...where in the flying birds stops in the middle of the air...the waves jus stop...the wind which blows stops the movement of the tree..

Ah..thats something astonishing. So what happens when all these comes to a standstill...well really dont know...however there would the reverse current flow from the earth's outer sphere, which can change the directions of the poles and the gravitational pull of the moon. So what happens, I dont know.

But what i was thinking is, if we have something to bring our momemts in life to Standstill how would it be? We can just pause those tense moments or bring to a standstill those crying days or just evaluate the happy moments what it had not been?.

Better life is not a standstill..just confused...probably if you have clarity on the same give me your comments.

Prabhakaran enigma: Fighting for pride or Eelam?

A Promise is a Promise

This is a very strong statement. Anyone who goes and honors this word stands in the History forever.

Only very few have achieved who can be counted easily. And today, as an Indian I felt proud to see that being achieved by a man who is considered as a great businessman in the history of that Group. He has taken the group from a mere small entity into a Conglomerate with presence in various lines of business.

Anyone who has closely seen this Great guy would appreciate for his effort in transforming such an organization to greater heights. Believe, you would all have understood by now, whom I am referring to? It’s the TATA Group and its chairman Mr. Ratan Tata.

During my college days, when I heard of the erstwhile TATA head who was probably his predecessor, I felt generally the Group heads at the position would be arrogant heads. But this Gentleman changed everything.

From flying Jaguar to acquiring the Great Brand to bringing a global roadmap for the TATA Tea and to standing to the commitment of one-lakh car which was promised at least a couple of years ago before its launch.

Having gone through the economic crisis, and standing before the entire nation, and delivering to the commitment, I felt proud that India has arrived at the stage set for its dominance. These men ensured, whatever it takes, to standby the commitment and honour the same. I can feel in his voice that sense of happiness on achieving the commitment he had honored even though coming across various difficulties and hurdles during its course. We can really understand, what effort it would have taken for this man to drive to the dreams of every individual and convincing his team and group still facing the hardship during the setup of plant to ensure that this project keeps rolling and Kept his promise. Finally the NANO rolls out on <st1:date year="2009" day="23" month="3">March 23, 2009</st1:date>. And group embarks on a great journey again.

And to his word that A Promise is a Promise.

Perseverance

Perseverance

This is one of the best words I feel in the language of English. This word reminds me of lot. A lot of perseverance that Mahatma Gandhi had towards achieving the freedom for India. A lot of perseverance that Nelson Mandela had towards achieving the freedom of rights in South Africa. And a lot can be said about this.
But, why suddenly this word makes such an importance is that, I was just looking at the Olympics and felt there are two different nations at extreme ends of the same, but one had the perseverance on a national account to achieve, While the other on an Individual account to achieve. Believe, you all would be aware of, Its none other than India and China.
At every Olympic, every Indian across the continent, believes and hopes with bathed breath, that India would win many gold medals. And finally as the game proceeds, we are only made to understand that, its not the national effort that had played a major role in wining the Olympic game, but the individual perseverance to win the same for the nation. This I believe is lot different when compared to China, Where the Chinese national effort with Perseverance over a decade has steadily been growing and today, they made record of all sorts with then highest number of medals.
Every India, feels happy when that one India wins the medal. But later he feels anguished on the note of understanding, the effort that had been put by the individual to win the same without any great sort of help from the nation. So where does all the funds of the Olympic committee being invested. Believe they aren’t in the stock market or the uphill luxury plots.
Over there, China has consistently benchmarked their standards against the competition and invested the resources and timing in to this magnificent game and today, The Perseverance of the nation has paid off. And all the Chinese are proud at what the nation has streamlined its effort on this one of the magnificent game to achieve.
And every lndian still believes that the government would evaluate the situation and come out with stringent plans to ensure the perseverance of the Individual is brought on to the national level to even out the gap of medals. And considering the amount of fund flow into the nation, this would be only miniscule portion of the same to be directed to a good effort. And there are a lot more players, who are practicing every day and night, towards that golden one with their perseverance of winning the same at any cost. If the nation comes in and let their hand, I will be also proud to be, that We have achieved. And Every Indian like me is jus waiting for the same.

A day in sales guy life - Part 2

As I entered office, i jus go to my seat. open my bag and take the laptop out. I switch it on and and by the time it boots on i, go to read the newspaper "The Hindu". Jus go through all the day to day activities and the editorial. really one of the good editorial section but sometimes the article doesnt interest me much but sometimes its too good. Then I come to my place and began to browse google news to get a snapshot of the world at the point of time. This one is also good.

And now the day starts actually. Began to look into numbers as we call, the target and see what are the cases pending, what needs to be followed up and jus have a look at it. Then my team starts coming as the day prolongs. And start following with them for the cases(accounts or customer where we would be working for some solution to get into order) and the funnel - the list of similar such cases. After a discussion, go for a customer call and today was a call with one of my close customer a business house of chennai, actually madurai. Because there is a large deal to happen for us but the coach(one who guides inside the customer camp for our favor) inside the customer camp told me that the deal might not come our way. As top management favored my new entrant in the competition because of some management favors. Hence i went over to my coach to get the details. And i got the complete information.

Then came back to office, passed on the information to my fellow colleagues and to my superior to take some action. But its beyond control now for this instance in this account. So my colleagues geared up to bring our top management to this account to somehow bring a portion of this. But i somehow felt that this beyond control as of now in this time. Then it was afternoon, as usual went to the nearby hotel, the famous one on the greams road. Had the usual minimeals, because none other there is better in tase compared to this. The food taste is really awful in this great hotel..but this is the best they say..what to do..

Then came to office, had a chat on this with my team and colleagues and there was a proposal to be made to the government customer. Prepared a document on the same. The jus came to a near by shop to get the bluetooth headset..had a long chat with him to understand his business and his profitability, because this shop near to my office, is been there for quite long. But i dont find people flocking there for buying mobiles or anything there..i was thinking how this guy was making profit? the best way to understand is to ask him..i asked and a sales guy can understand whether he speaks the truth or sales to us. he spoke the same of what we do to our customer.

The bought the bluetooth one and came back to my office. The started to read the google news and now again there was call my good old friend, and began to discussing on a lot of things in life and then after the chat..was in a mood to think of the organizational changes that are happening..

And now it was around 3pm..i began to think about some of the new account to target and began to take a list of those. I always think of bringing a planned approach for these. And i was drafting an excel for this. And by the time i completed it was four. Really attended a lot of calls from the morning with the respect to new cases, followup, submission, tenders..and so jus went to the near by shop to have some tea..the lemon tea...thats the area where we got some clues.

A day in a sales guy life - Part 1

The day started quite early...probably it was quite bright in the early morning...i dont know why it happened today so. Even when i work late and watch movie before going to sleep yesterday..today it started quite early...Yeah for SUN the day was quite early.
For me, it was the same..I woke up as usual at 5.00 am. Looked into my exercise equipments..eagerly waiting for me to use them.
Again i jus twinkled my eyes and switched off the alarm and slept. And it was six that i woke up..only to see my mom smiling at me. Great start.

Jus had a jug of water..probably 2/3 of it..went to my fathers bed..The news paper were there. Jus got into the economic times..i really do not know whether i am going to make a major decision on reading the economy status. Well, i always feel, that i get good leads from there or great business opportunities. Thats where economic times makes some usefulness. And the tamil daily "thinathanthi"..that jus suffices the normal mans quest of news..yeah movie gossips and news..it jus takes few seconds only for me to read that paper.

And during this course my mom gives me BOOST..i really do not know whether it is the secret of my Energy. But it tastes good. i love it. And then i go to take bath. The shower is like a true cascade for me during this hot summer season in chennai. Really i stand and enjoy for quite some time. By the time, i come out, breakfast is ready for me. And i jus get dressed up, and my usual bright white shirt..probably with different shade in it..Does white has shade? i believe and hence i have various shades of white with me.. And the dark trouser..And ask my mom to serve and she does so efficiently with the kindness. I really love her. And then as usual she blesses me with God's Thiruneer on my small forehead..

And my dad keeps my shoe ready. I jus wear those and take my bike and smile at my mom and start of to My Great Job. I reach my office at around as usual..thats 8.30-8.40 am. As only managers are authorised in my office to open the office...i always feel bad at the engineers who travel from quite a long distance and come to office and wait for any of the managers to come early to get it opened. and most times i turn to be first. But this is something i want to change as i grow in the organisation.Thinking??

So for the days activity..let me complete the tender tonight and post.

Governance

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_FQvxn91KB0c/SAct1QMEdZI/AAAAAAAAATw/WikqlDJAQOE/s320/governance.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5190167488469693842" />
This is the most sought after word in the developing countries to bring about a radical change in the management of Governmental affairs, while in developed worlds this speaks about the epitome of their achievement in those. But when looked deeply into this single word that can be described as a philosophy really means nothing.

Why so? can be bit intriguing but actually its what symbolizes into. A governance of any nature can be termed good or bad not really by the services which actually bring a radical difference by means of elevating the livelihoods of millions of people but actually the symbol of tangible force that plays a major role in describing the governance as good or bad. Any governance that relates to be the best pertains to that particular symbol which symbolizes that the act of good services is served to those people belonging to the government. And actually this esteem of good governance comes into picture, when these millions feel those services of those government is actually good in nature because of the tangible benefit that they receive, which ultimately relates to the strongness of the symbol that they have in mind.

And that symbol when destroyed or defamed in a simple case, the governance of whatsoever good has happened or being done to those millions fades away very fast like a misty sand statue torn by a powerful wind which at the end of the day stands as a shapeless devastated statue and governance remain the same.

And if the intangible symbol that has been related because of the tangible effects remains broken, then its hard to build the governance. And this governance which finds itself in various forms in various services can be worthy only when the intangible symbol of alignment doesnot perish with the tangible effects.

Human Rights Issue - Where does India & US stand?

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://bp2.blogger.com/_FQvxn91KB0c/SActIQMEdYI/AAAAAAAAATo/4edP3FQkK4U/s320/Human+Rights.bmp" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5190166715375580546" />

US had condemned India on the issue of Nandigram as a major case in the violation of human rights in India. Nadigram issue is a sensitive one taking into consideration the expectation of the people. But looking at the view point from the expansion of Economy in a country, any major expansion had always its own hindrance issues. Any dam that proposed for hydro-electricity project or for control of floods or for proper supply of water, the evacuation of people in the proposed catchment area is always a major issue. And the strict governance that is brought in during those times had its own human rights violation issue. And US would have also undergone the same.

And similar to this effect, any major plant expansion which provides job opportunities to thousands of people is accomplished by the sacrifice a small set of people who for the miniscule government funds give away the land for the project. This is always done for the prosperity of the country. And when this happens, there is generally the disposition of people from the existing territory to a new territory. And it comes with its own human rights issue. And again US would have also undergone the same.

But, these all are small one. Calling themselves the Big brother and Human rights Preserver, the great deal of human rights preservation they have carried out in Iraq is exceptionally admirable. And the preservation of human rights in terms they have given as freedom to their next generation which generally makes the act of weekly university firing are to be awarded. The turmoil that has completely changed a country landscape in the name of human rights preservation in US base countries (IRAQ) is splendid. And the similar acts carried out by US should be applauded for its cause.

Considering the various factors, India believes that US doesn’t stand and have the right to condemn India is such issues. Though politicians and politics play a major role in these kind of violation for their personal gains in the both the nations, but this kind of open condemnation by a country whose track record is very weak does not pave a good path for its nextgen to look at their counterparts in other countries.

Considering apart the political indiscreminacies, discrepancies and the politician’s selfishness and the corporate hunger for expansion, both the countries have spoiled their image on the human rights issue.
